Awakened States 🛸

Dear friends, crushes, mushrooms, unicorns & especially anyone who believes in ghosts or faeries,

Who would you be if you didn’t believe something was wrong with you?
(just listened to this podcast & 🤯)

When I did my weekly Magic Yoga session with Linzi Silverman yesterday (who side note -- just came out with a new amazing deck!) ~ our opening meditation transported me to the ocean. And by the end of the practice face down on the ground I felt my body drizzle down, my cells oozing into the imaginary sand beneath me, the ocean washing up the shore, and relief in the soothing rush of nothingness.

Sounds divine, right? 🌊🐚

Nothing wrong with some light escapism. But as tempting as it is to hide from the world right now, you are needed. And you deserve to feel a spectrum of emotions including joy, even & especially because it feels so contrary to what is happening on the global stage.

If you've been in a breathwork session with me lately, you've heard me say the following: the work of healing is ongoing, multi-layered, and the end goal is not relaxation, but unrest and awakening to how we can enact change in ourselves, and in our world, and live in our highest purpose - not just as individuals but as part of a collective, a community.

And I am so honored to do this work, as a guide, and alongside you.

Why this work?
We hold so much inside us - tight jaws, tense shoulders, shallow breath. Holding back, or holding in to protect ourselves. Breathwork and Reiki can help us gently, naturally open, sending breath and healing energy to the physical and energetic bodies. The work can feel deeply refreshing like diving into a cool pool out of the scorching desert sun. Or like sticking your head out the window, smelling freshly cut grass in a fast moving car, or dancing out the sunroof of your childhood bestie’s dad's convertible to the "The Power" by SNAP! cassingle. It can also feel heavy. To feel the feelings is liberating, but the knowing can feel like a great responsibility. You are supported.
